Law School Articles

I recently imported about 150 articles from Wikipedia covering most of the U.S. Law Schools. Even though these articles do not focus on what I think will be most helpful to students, they are a good starting point. If anybody would like to contribute to Wiki Law School but does not know where to start, you can help by formatting these artices or by modifying them to be more useful to the legal community. To discuss ideas about how to format the law school articles, and other discussion regarding them, please see the Category talk:Law Schools page. Thank you. Sysop 13:16, 12 May 2007 (MST)

Manual of Patent Examining Procedure

I have imported all 27 chapters of the MPEP (aka the Manual of Patent Examining Procedure) and the appendices that include 35 U.S.C. and 37 C.F.R. Right now, they are just the straight text from the MPEP. My intent is that the text of the MPEP chapters will be edited by any contributors, eventually resulting in a guidebook of the MPEP that will assist people preparing to take the USPTO patent bar. The U.S.C. and C.F.R. titles should be left in their original language, but need formatting and general cleaning up.

If you are preparing to take this exam, and you want to master the MPEP, start working on one of the MPEP chapters. There are several tasks that each chapter needs. Go through the text, eliminating sections that do not pertain to the exam and reducing the verbiage to accurate summaries of the original text. Format and organize each chapter in a plain and consistent manner. The desired result are chapter outlines that, along with practice testing, will be all that is necessary for one to prepare to take the patent bar.

If you think that a free patent bar outline would be a good thing, feel free to participate. For a list of links to the MPEP chapters, please see the MPEP Table of Contents.

I have also created a Patent Bar Preparation page that will include a study plan for the patent bar and anything else that will help people get ready for this exam. For example, it could include information regarding how much time should be spent studying each MPEP chapter based on importance to the test. If you have taken the patent bar or have good advice to impart, please contribute. Thanks! Sysop 00:01, 13 May 2007 (MST)
