  • Terry Brooks '69 (law) — Author of fantasy fiction; 12 million copies in print
  • John W. Davis 1892, 1895L; the 1924 Democratic nominee for U.S. President, Ambassador to Britain, Solicitor General, argued more cases before the Supreme Court than anyone else in the 20th century
  • Robert Mosbacher '47 Undergraduate '49 Law School — Secretary of Commerce between 1989 and 1992
