Amy M. Adler is a law professor at New York University School of Law. Subjects taught by Adler include Art Law, Censorship and Culture, First Amendment Law, and Feminist Jurisprudence.
Adler graduated from Yale Law School.
Adler contributed to an amicus brief in support of the Warhol Foundation[1] in Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, Inc. v. Goldsmith.[2]
Adler was romantically linked to murder victim Dan Markel, a Florida State University College of Law professor, at the time of Markel's death in 2014.[3] Wendi Adelson, Dan Markel's ex-wife, was subjected to a search warrant in connection with Markel's murder; in the resulting search of Adelson's browser history investigators found searches for Adler’s ex-husband, Adler’s brother, and Adler herself.[4]
