The '''West Virginia University College of Law''' is the professional school for the study of law at [[West Virginia University]] in [[Morgantown, West Virginia]]. The [[law school]] was established in 1878 as the first professional school in the state of West Virginia. It remains the only law school in the state. The ''West Virginia Law Review'' is the fourth oldest law school journal in the nation having been founded in 1894. The law school has been a member of the [[Association of American Law Schools]] since 1914 and was given full-accreditation by the [[American Bar Association]] in 1923. The law school has also maintained a chapter of the prestigious [[Order of the Coif]] since 1925. ==Programs== The West Virginia University College of Law maintains a number of specialized academic programs. Most notable are its Business Law, International Law, Family Law and Public Interest Law programs. It also offers two joint degree programs: the JD/EMBA program with the College of Business and Economics, and the JD/MPA program with the Division of Public Administration. For the past two years, U.S. News & World Report has ranked the West Virginia University College of Law in the top 100 law schools in America. The newly-released 2012 edition ranks the school 95.
