Klockner v. Green, 254 A.2d 782 (N.J. 1969).

Facts: Decedent told Plaintiff that if she cared for her, she would get all in the will. New will was never executed. Plaintiff testified that she would have performed anyway, even if there was no promise made to bequeath.

Issue: Can a person be bound to bequeath by a contract?

Holding: Yes.

Reason: The decedent got what she bargained for. Motive is immaterial.
